well the background doesn't serve much purpose in this photo(other than to frame the turtle), the main subject is the turtle so it would be better if the background was really plain like the blue of the sea, without the sand and the fishes... i know it was hard getting any angle on the turtle and you didn't have time to check out the background but i hate taking a great photo and then having to settle for a stupid background which i could have easily avoided while shooting.
