Today we had a party for my friends b-day at this beach house on the North Shore of Oahu (The Volcom House). There was this pond that formed in the middle of the beach from the last swell & the boys had been doing tow-ins all day with these atv 4 wheelers. There was a lot of clouds on the horizon & it didn't look like there was going to be much of a sunset & then all of a sudden it just started to do its thing. One of my friends grabs a broken in half piece of surfboard and takes one last ride across the pond...that ride just locked everything into place...the view, the friends, the feeling, the moment, the memory...so amazing, so unique, so special...so unforgetable.
