Caught this Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle swimming around the reef.

Superb photo ..not least because it is dynamic., and captures the feel the surge of water with each ocean wave. This photo could be part of, or used to illustrate an adventurous story. It has a full spectrum of colour hue and tones .. and that makes it a place where most of us can relate to being and seeing for real.
It also has great perspective, which is totally lost in most underwater photography. As a consequence very few underwater photographs make me feel as if I'm there participating, rather than as a spectator who just missed out on being at the right place at the right time.! Most might equally have been taken through a window ..of a tourist submarine. But this one really works. Likewise most underwater photos imply rather cool or blatantly blood-constricting cold.! Thanks to the red, almost ferrous tones of the rock - beautifully echoed around the neck of the turtle, it calls out "come on the water's lovely - let's swim and play. There's nothing alien or frightening here".
In short ; probably the most dynamic and welcoming underwater shot on these pages. Thank you.
